In mid-September, the central court of the National Tennis Centre became the stage for something different — The Tennis Dinner — a conceptual dinner that brought together cuisine, sport and style in one place.
The Food Nomads team decided to do something unexpected and for two evenings transformed the central court into a pop-up restaurant with a long table for 50 guests, set directly on the red clay.
The menu was entrusted to the rising star of Bulgarian cuisine Chef Angela Boeva, who flew in from London to present four dishes combining boldness and refinement. Each was precisely paired with wine from the Synergy Wines selection, presented personally by their team.
The main sponsor of the event was the sports retail chain SLS — official importer of Dunlop, the balls of the ATP tour, as well as the fashion sports brand Goldbergh, whose owner attended in person among the guests.
Renault presented for the first time in Bulgaria its limited Renault 5 Roland-Garros Edition, while Biologique Recherche added a touch of French finesse with their beauty court. Mastercard, who this year also support Bulgarian tennis hope Ivan Ivanov, were also part of the experience.
And the best part? The evening did not end with dessert. After the last bite we moved to the party at the bar above the court with themed cocktails, a DJ set and many smiles.
The Tennis Dinner was exactly what an event should be — with an idea, with meaning, with atmosphere. And if we had to sum it up in one word: delicious. In every sense.
